ZMAGRYA - GNAWA FUSION VOL. 2

ZMAGRYA curated GNAWA FUSION as a nightlife experiment to experience what fusions of Gnawa traditional music with electronic genres would give us in a physical nightlife setting. We're back with the second volume for GNAWA FUSION.

This series is an attempt to uplift and centre Gnawa music beyond its commercialization. We recognize the political and spiritual history of Gnawa music and strive to centre it in community spaces, particularly in community spaces that exist to produce joy.

Join us in this exciting musical and dance experiment! We're continuing our GNAWA FUSION series with BOULILA, led by Yacin. BOULILA's group will be playing a live show using traditional Gnawa instruments such as the Guembri, Qraqeb, and their vibrant vocals. DJs INCOGMOKRO, ZINA, and RAHEELA will be fusing traditional Gnawa instrumentals, vocals and more with electronic music genres like
